Terms

No account, no payment, no licence to accept. Loading the site mints an anonymous player and you are playing. In exchange, a short list of things not to do:

• ·Do not script the game. Automating runs, farming the leaderboard, or hammering the API is the one thing that makes the boards worthless for everyone.
• ·Do not try to pull the answer out of the network tab. Prices are held on the server until a guess is committed, and probing for them is not a clever strategy, it is abuse.
• ·Do not claim a handle to impersonate someone, and keep it out of slur territory. Handles that break this get released without notice.
• ·Do not bulk-copy the listing data out of the game. It is not ours to give you, which is the next section.

Break these and the account, the handle and the scores can go. There is no appeal process, because there is nobody to appeal to.

Every home in the game is a real, currently active listing. The listing details and the photography belong to the source they came from — for almost the entire pool that is Weichert, Realtors®, with a smaller bundled snapshot behind the rest — and each listing carries the attribution its source requires, shown on the reveal card next to a link to the original.

• ·Photographs are loaded from the source CDN rather than copied, and remain the property of whoever shot and licensed them.
• ·Facts and prices are reproduced as published. We do not invent, adjust, or round them.
• ·The game code and its own copy, ranks, quips and design are ours. The listing content is not, and no right to redistribute it comes with playing.
• ·If you are a rights holder and something here should not be, raise it on the project’s public repository and it comes out of the pool. A listing can be deactivated without touching anything else.

Every price shown is an asking price — what a seller wants today, not a completed sale, an appraisal, or a market value.

Nothing here is real-estate, financial, tax or legal advice. Do not price a house, make an offer, or settle an argument with money in it based on a round of ListingGuessr. Data may also simply be stale: a listing that has since sold, been withdrawn or been repriced can still be in the pool.

Scores are computed on the server, always — the client animates a number it was handed. That also means a run that fails to reach the server did not happen, and we do not restore lost streaks, reinstate a daily you closed mid-round, or adjust a board by request.

Anything you share is public by design: a claimed handle, a score, and an emoji grid on a /vs/ link or a profile page can be seen by anyone with the URL. If you would rather not be on a leaderboard, do not claim a handle — and you can delete the record entirely whenever you like.

ListingGuessr is provided as it is, free, with no promise that it works, stays up, keeps your streak, or remains available at all. Features can change or disappear; the pool can shrink or grow. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using it — and since it costs nothing and holds nothing but a random id, there is very little at stake either way.

These terms change when the product does, and the date at the top moves with them. Continuing to play after a change is how you accept it. What we do with the little data there is lives in the privacy policy.
